Snails
Snails are gastropods, which are animals such as: snails, slugs, semi-slug and whelks. They store their organs inside their shell and move with a muscular foot. You can eat snails and they’re actually very good for you. That is unless you have a snail allergy LOL. Some of its relatives are: slugs and semi-slugs. Unlike other creatures most with shells, snails’ and semi-slugs’ shells grow with them. When they are young (as pictured) the baby snail's shell is translucent and soft. As it grows, the snail's shell get tougher and turns yellow/green. Snails eat plants, fungi, worms, animal waste, and other snails. Sometimes I find an empty shell but recently I saw a snail in action climbing through the flowers. They are interesting creatures.
