Killdeers

Killdeer are small and crazyish little birds. For some reason they make their nests in gravel. If a fox or another wild animal sees a killdeer’s eggs, the killdeer pretends to have a broken wing and sends the fox on a wild killdeer chase. They can be found in most of North America and a teensy bit in South America.
